Gym settings

Name, subdomain, currency, notifications, and the booking-site switches.

Settings is the gym, not the booking-site copy (that is Content).

You can change

  • Gym name and website URL.
  • Subdomain ({subdomain}.fitnito.com) — check availability before you save.
  • Default currency for new memberships, visit packs, and drop-ins. Canadian gyms start in CAD. Details under Currency members pay, below.
  • Self-signup, booking window, login destination.
  • Family booking — Premium. Who members book for sits under that switch.
  • Pause a membership — Premium. Optional member self-serve sits under Membership pause.
  • Notifications — owner emails (new account, purchase, class booking, a single cancellation), member booking reminders (Premium), and the low-session number (every plan, blank means off).
  • Payments, the discount-code toggle, pay-per-class drop-ins (Book now) — off by default; when on, set the drop-in price per program on Products → Drop-ins — and how members cancel (Stripe portal by default; off, they send you a request).
  • AI agent access.
  • Member profile fields — Content → Forms and Fields → Profile (Premium). Extras on Profile, and mark the main phone or any extra required on signup and Profile.

Currency members pay

New memberships, visit packs, and drop-in prices use the currency under Settings → Payments. Saving a card uses it too.

A location or business address in Canada sets this currency to CAD once that address is saved before the first price. The setup chat asks for the street, city, province or state, postal code, and country, and saves them on the location. All five are required for the address to save. Locations → Edit does the same. Connecting a Canadian Stripe account sets CAD when nothing is priced yet: no priced product, no Stripe price, and no member invoice. A free USD draft with no Stripe price moves to CAD. A US Stripe account leaves USD. A chat that never saves the address, and does not connect a Canadian Stripe account, stays on USD. A gym anywhere else stays on USD.

A Canadian gym that wants USD sets Currency here afterward. Once you change the currency, Fitnito leaves that choice alone. Saving the rest of Settings without changing Currency does not count as a choice. Picking USD while it is already USD, before a Canadian address is saved or a Canadian Stripe account is connected, does not lock it.

Prices you already created keep the currency they were given. A gym that already has a priced membership or visit pack, a drop-in price, a member invoice, or a Stripe price is not moved. A free draft with no Stripe price does not block the switch, and that draft moves to CAD. Gyms that were already on Fitnito before this stay on the currency they have.

Staff can work the day without opening Settings. Keep the owner password to yourself if you do not want anyone else changing the subdomain or billing.
