Pause a membership
Hold a member without cancelling — they can't book, and we skip invoices. Premium.
Pause is Premium — paid Fitnito plans and the trial.
A pause is not a cancel. They can still sign in and see the schedule. They cannot book, reminders skip them, and we do not invoice them until the pause ends. Days they already paid are not refunded.
Pause from the member profile
- Open the member.
- On their membership card, tap Pause membership.
- Pick 30 days, a date, or until you resume.
- Optionally pause people they pay for — the form lists them by name, same as the booking site.
- We'll take them off upcoming classes. Days already paid are not refunded. They can still sign in.
Resume membership opens the same kind of confirm as the booking site. If people they pay for are paused too, you can resume just this membership or everyone they pay for. If Stripe does not unpause, they stay paused so a later webhook cannot pause them again — try Resume again or check Payments.
A parent with no membership of their own still shows a household pause card when they pay for kids.
Let members pause themselves
Off until you turn it on. In Settings, under Membership pause, check Let members pause and resume. They pause from Memberships on the booking site — one plan, or everyone they pay for. Resume is the same: one plan, or everyone they pay for who is paused. You can still pause or resume from the console.
Starter gyms see an upgrade prompt instead of Pause membership.
