Connect an AI agent (MCP)

Most gyms never need this. The Fitnito Assistant already runs the gym from chat inside the console.

Use the AI Connector (MCP) when you want that same work in Cursor, Grok, Claude, ChatGPT, or Muse (Facebook Muse). The address is https://mcp.fitnito.com. The short version, with things to ask, is on fitnito.com/ai.

In the browser, on the console

Chrome's WebMCP preview can also read tools from the console page you have open. There is no switch.

• Sign in as an owner or an admin and the page offers the same tools as that login on the AI Connector (MCP), for the gym you are in.
• Sign in as a coach and the page offers the coach set only. Same limits as the console.
• Booking or dropping someone still shows the visit cost first. The page does not add a second confirm on top of that quote.
• Sign out and the tools are gone.

fitnito.com and the help center offer read-only tools: what Fitnito does, pricing, comparisons, how to sign up, and these help articles. They cannot change your gym.

Connect

1. Set up an AI Connector (MCP) for Fitnito in your own UI.
2. Use https://mcp.fitnito.com.
3. Sign in with your gym console password, your booking-site email and password, or Continue with Google.
4. Choose which gyms this AI can use, then Approve. One gym is already checked. Several gyms start unchecked. If more than one account matches your sign-in, pick yours from the list.
5. Choose Full access or Read only, then approve. Read only can look at the schedule, members, and passes. It cannot book, email, pause a membership, or change the gym. You should see You're connected. You can close this window. To add another gym later, connect again and choose it.

Where to paste the address

• ChatGPT: on the web, open Settings → Apps → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode. Then Apps → Create, name it Fitnito, paste the address, and scan the tools. Business, Enterprise, and Edu can book and make changes. Pro can only look things up. On Business, only workspace admins and owners can turn it on. Fitnito's own ChatGPT app is still in OpenAI's review, so it is not in ChatGPT's app list yet.
• Claude: Customize → Connectors → Add → Custom (choose Web if asked). Name it Fitnito, paste the address, then Continue. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner adds it under Organization settings → Connectors, and each person clicks Connect. The free Claude plan allows one custom connector.
• Cursor: open Customize, then MCPs, add a new server named Fitnito, and paste the address. You can also add "fitnito": { "url": "https://mcp.fitnito.com" } under mcpServers in mcp.json.
• Grok: open grok.com/connectors → New Connector → Custom, paste the address, then sign in. On Grok Business and Enterprise, an admin adds it first in console.x.ai → Connectors → Add Connector → Other.
• Muse: Muse has no form for an address. In a chat, ask Muse to create a custom connector for Fitnito at the address, then sign in when it asks. Manage it under Settings → Connectors.

Settings → AI Agent Access lists the app after you approve. Disconnect that login’s connection. There is no “Disable MCP” that kills every connection. Coaches can open that same Settings card to disconnect an app they connected.

What you can do

• Schedule classes, book people, and manage members the same way as the Fitnito Assistant. Booking or dropping a class shows the visit cost and the cancellation terms first, then changes the roster only after you confirm. No card is charged for the class itself. If they need a new pass, it is 10 visits. A different number is not applied. Confirm before email, a paid plan, a plan change, a refund, or cancelling a membership or weekly series. Ask what the gym is telling you and you get the same Insights lists as the console (counts on the gym overview, people on the insights tool). It does not email the member. Coaches do not get that tool.
• ChatGPT, Claude, and Muse do not get the payment tools. From those apps it cannot assign, change, or cancel a membership, give a member a pack, refund, or open a payment link. Adding visits to a pass still works. Cursor, Grok, and other apps keep the payment tools.
• Members who connect can book and drop, manage family, see passes, open a checkout, portal, or save-card link, update their profile, sign documents, and set notification preferences.
• If more than one gym or more than one person could match, the agent asks. It does not pick.

Beside the chat

After you connect, the app can show Fitnito next to the chat, not only as tools inside it.

• Open Today's classes from the sidebar. You see today's classes, who is booked, and how many spots are open.
• Keep Schedule open beside the chat.
• In the composer, type @Fitnito to pick a class or a member. Then ask the chat to book them or take them off.
• Ask it to tell you when someone books, drops, or a class is cancelled. Those notes are the same class alerts below.

Watch bookings

An owner or a coach can watch the gym from the same chat. A member connection is different: it only hears about that member and their kids. See Connect an AI agent.

1. Connect as an owner or a coach (the steps above).
2. Ask the assistant to tell you when someone books, drops, or when a class is cancelled. For example: "Tell me when someone books a class."
3. Fitnito sends session.booked, session.unbooked, or session.cancelled. A booking or a drop has the class id and one client_id. A cancellation has client_ids. The note also has the time and how full the class is. It does not include a name or an email.
4. Cancelling a class sends one cancellation. It does not also send a drop for each person who was on the class.

To stop, ask the assistant to stop watching. You can also disconnect that login's app under Settings → AI Agent Access. A watch expires on its own, and the assistant has to turn it on again.

Safety

• Disconnect that login’s app from Settings → AI Agent Access. If they had more than one gym on that sign-in, those gyms disconnect together.
• A console sign-in can change gym settings the same way Settings does, including whether members can cancel their membership and the low-session email number (blank or -1 turns it off).
• Every gym can connect. There is no gym-wide off switch.

This is optional. If you are not using an external agent, you do not need to connect one.
