Find and book a class
List, day, or week view — reserve with a pass, or Book now when the gym allows pay-per-class on a program.
Open Schedule. You can switch list, day, and week. Week view is the one that looks like a calendar; list is easier on a phone.
Above the schedule, Sessions left names each person you book for. A reset pass reads Maya: 3 of 8 left, resets Nov 1. A top-up reads Maya: 3 left, top up — it does not reset. Amber means the gym’s low number. Red means none left. Unlimited passes are left off this line. Hide it under Notifications if you do not want it. It stays on until you do.
Reserve with a pass
When you already have a pass that covers the program:
- Tap a class.
- Confirm you (or the family member you are booking for) want in.
- Tap Reserve. You are booked.
A visit pass uses one visit. If the pass says it resets on the 1st, unused visits clear then. A top up stays until you use it. An unlimited membership just needs to be active.
No card is charged for the class itself when you Reserve — the visit comes off your pass.
Book now (pay per class)
Some gyms turn on pay-per-class drop-ins and set a drop-in price on a program. You see Book now only when:
- The gym uses Fitnito Payments and has drop-ins turned on in Settings,
- The program has pay-per-class turned on with a drop-in price,
- You are booking for someone who does not have a usable pass for that program, and
- The class is not full and is still inside the gym’s booking window.
What you will see
- Book now $X on the schedule list or in the class panel — X is what the gym charged for one class.
- Reserve instead if you (or the person you are booking for) still have a visit left on a pass for that program.
What happens when you tap Book now
- Fitnito holds your spot on the class. Other members cannot take that seat during checkout.
- Stripe Checkout opens in the same tab. Your card is authorized, not charged yet. Pay with your card (or a saved card if the gym offers it).
- After Checkout, you return to the same schedule view and date you left (week, day, or list). On week and day, the class panel opens again. When the charge went through you see You're booked. If the card is still confirming, you see that your seat is held — not that you need to Book now again.
- Use Back in Checkout to free the seat and return to that same view with No charge. Closing the tab leaves the hold until Checkout expires, about 30 minutes later. Either way, you are not charged.
If the class is no longer available
If Book now fails before Stripe opens, the class panel shows the reason. The class just filled, for example. You are not booked, and the card is not charged.
If you already authorized the card and the class filled, started, or was cancelled before the charge, you land on a page that says No charge. The card is not charged. You are not booked.
If the charge already went through and the seat is gone, you land on a page that says Visit saved. The visit is on your pass. You get an email. Use Reserve on another class. The card is not refunded.
After you are booked
Cancel before the class starts and the visit goes back on your pass for that program. Use Reserve on another class. Fitnito does not refund the card. Ask the gym if you want the money back. They refund from their payments screen.
If the charge went through and the class still cannot take you, the visit is on your pass and you get an email. The card is not refunded.
Booking for family
Switch who you are booking for before you tap Book now. The price and the held seat apply to that person. A parent paying for a child uses the parent’s card in Checkout.
If you cannot book
- The class is full.
- It is outside the gym’s booking window (too far ahead).
- You do not have a pass and the gym has not turned on pay-per-class for that program — ask the desk, or buy a plan or pack if the gym takes cards.
- You are looking at the wrong person — switch who you are booking for.
- The gym needs you to agree to a document first (a waiver, for example).
Staff can still add you from their side if they want a walk-in.
